About the exhibitor

Established in 1932, Morita manufactures fine paper boxes, packaging, and other paper products by combining machine and hand processing techniques. One of their signature pieces is the V-Cut Box, a paper container crafted using a rare manufacturing method that achieves a durable yet luxurious design. This unique feature allows these recycled paper boxes to be repurposed as small decorative containers after serving their initial packaging purpose. Beyond packaging containers and gift boxes, Morita also offers original interior storage solutions, such as pen holders. Each item showcases the company's original design and technology, reflecting their commitment to craftsmanship and the use of recycled materials.

About the products

V-Cut Box

Crafted with Morita's unique V-cutting technology, the V-Cut Box features a sharp, luxurious, and durable design. After serving its initial purpose as elegant packaging, the box can be repurposed as a smart accessory holder. The V-Cut Boxes are produced for various luxury product packaging, including whiskey, wine, Japanese sake, chocolates, confectioneries, and accessories.

Minimum Space Paper Box

Designed for tabletop use, the Minimum Space Paper Box is a compact storage solution for small items such as pens or pencils. The box features a space-saving design crafted using the company's V-Cut technology, allowing it to open up on both sides to reveal the hidden storage pockets. The simple series showcases diverse paper colours, and the Ainu Design series features motifs inspired by the traditional patterns of the Ainu, the indigenous people of Japan.

Paper Box Memo Pad

Morita's Paper Box Memo Pad showcases a playful take on note pads, incorporating iconic Japanese imagery, including Mt. Fuji and ninjas. The recycled paper used in crafting this product is primarily sourced from recycled pulp obtained from milk cartons and other beverage packaging.
