About the products

AIZAWA Wood Works
Founded in 1947 in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, as a woodwork manufacturer for lacquerware, AIZAWA Wood Works delivers various wooden tableware with delicate craftsmanship and rustic charm. At the fair, IFJ Tradings introduces two of their series - KITO: "With Tree" and SUI: "Refined Wooden Vessels".

DAIYO
With a hundred years of history, DAIYO is dedicated to crafting authentic Japanese candles made from 100% vegetable wax. This aspect is of utmost importance and serves as the hallmark of the genuine Japanese candles that DAIYO takes pride in creating. Carefully crafted one by one by skilled artisans using 100% domestic and natural plant wax, their Japanese candles produce virtually no wax tears or oily smoke.

KAMAWANU
KAMAWANU specializes in crafting TENUGUI, a hand-dyed rectangular cloth traditionally used in Japan for everyday purposes as housewares and garments. Employing the "CHUSEN" hand-dyeing technique dating back to the Meiji Period over a century ago, this versatile traditional Japanese item serves various functions—from wiping faces and hands to wrapping items and cleaning. It was also embraced as a fashion accessory during the Edo period.

SUSUMUYA
SUSUMUYA TEA WARE is the original teaware brand of SUSUMUYA TEA SHOP, a speciality store for Kagoshima tea and Chiran tea, tracing its origins back to a long-established tea wholesale warehouse in Kagoshima. Alongside offering top-quality Japanese tea, Susumuya also produces and sells original tea utensils crafted by world-class designers and craftspeople, combining functionality and beauty.

TAKAZAWA CANDLE
TAKAZAWA CANDLE specialises in crafting traditional Japanese candles known as "WA-ROUSOKU," made from natural waxes. Their candle-making business was established in 1892 in the city of Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture, with Noto Peninsula. The wick is hand-rolled onto a cylinder of Japanese paper, then wrapped with a thin layer of cotton, ensuring a steady supply of wax and oxygen as the candle burns, resulting in a bright, powerful flame resistant to wind.
