OKURU was established in 2017 as a photo-gift service for families with children. OKURU delivers photos filled with precious memories, smiles and feelings of gratitude of each family as one-of-a-kind gifts. OKURU aims to provide environmentally and ecologically friendly products and services for future generations.
About the products
Okuru’s staple products, palm-sized paper photo frames, are produced in collaboration with Morita, a manufacturer of paper boxes, packages, and paper products. Designed with a special attention to texture and feel, OKURU has sold more than 50,000 of these frames a year, and they are loved by many people in Japan. In addition to paper photo frames, OKURU also produces wooden calendar hangers made (mainly) from thinned Japanese cypress.
