About the exhibitor
The concept of COQ is "a place where creations breathe”. COQ means "breath" in Japanese, and it expresses their wish to deliver a lifestyle in which the body and mind can breathe comfortably.
COQ's creations are inspired by the nature of Hokkaido, the hometown of director Kanako Kajihara, a textile designer. Furthermore, COQ focuses on environmentally friendly manufacturing in order to transmit an ethical lifestyle that coexists with nature through clothing, food and housing.
About the products
COQ's products include socks, knitwear, shirts and dogwear created from carefully selected textiles using Japanese techniques. COQ proactively uses upcycled and recycled yarns and fabrics that would otherwise be discarded. By using telepathy through textiles, COQ hopes to share the ambiguous, delicate and uplifting moments of excitement that are inspired by nature.
