Momotaro Jeans is a popular denim brand that captivates denim enthusiasts around the world. Brand founder Hisao Manabe, known overseas as the Indigo King and also active as an indigo dyeing artist RAMPO, is fascinated by the deep world of indigo.
Produced by Hisao Manabe, the brand "AISHITERU" presents the world of AISHITERU, a world that cannot be conveyed in words. AISHITERU products express the deep charm of indigo dye with a theme of eternal love. Enjoy the timeless craftsmanship of these universally appealing and long-lasting masterpieces.
*the phrase aishiteru means “I love you” in Japanese.
About the products
The traditional Japanese color “blue” was nurtured by the earth and the rich nature of the four seasons. RAMPO by AISHITERU presents the blue expressed via 22 indigo stories on a selection of various materials.
Starting with RAMPO's “art" we use materials that represent Japan: pearls, natural fibers, leather, gold leaf, and lacquer. These materials are presented with the love inherent to indigo dyeing, our production areas, and true craftsmanship. This will be our brand debut in Amsterdam. We hope to deliver the charm of traditional crafts that color all Japanese craftsmanship.
