Japan Cultural Exchange works according to the privacy laws and regulations. We process your data confidentially, safely and carefully and respect your rights.
To achieve the purpose for which the personal data are processed, privacy is restricted as much as possible. The infringement will not be disproportionate. The information is not kept longer than necessary.
We process personal data, including those of our staff, our business relations, and customers. In special cases, we will ask your (free, specific, informed and unambiguous) permission for processing. Your permission will be recorded and saved. You can withdraw your permission in principle.
We keep the personal details of our business relations and customers in connection with the items below as long as necessary, so for the shortest possible term. In some cases, legal retention periods apply. For others, we use internal guidelines.
We do not process special personal data such as information about health and union membership, unless with your permission or strictly within the limits of the law.

We make every effort to guarantee your privacy. Our employees have a duty of confidentiality and only need access to information for the performance of their duties. Our computer network and the building is secured for this purpose.
In the event that, in spite of our security measures, personal data may (or could) have come from third parties without access rights, we will inform you immediately, as well as the Authority for personal data.
We use the services of other companies. That falls under our responsibility. We conclude and conclude processing agreements with these companies.
If you want information about our processing of your personal data, we will only give you this information after a positive identification.
You are then entitled to:
- inspection of data recorded by you
- correction or removal
- objection to certain methods of use
You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion or objection to us with a copy of your identity document. We will then respond within 2 weeks.
